Assoc. Prof. Sumidtra Prathep, MD (Vice Dean for Global Affairs and Corporate Communications) was invited by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Miyazaki, Japan to be a Guest Instructor to their medical students under the ‘English for Medical Professionals’ program during February 28 - March 6, 2026
The purpose of this project was to encourage the medical students to practice and be exposed to medical English through activities with the various medical professionals and lecturers from around the world.
This gathering also brought together medical lecturers from many countries, enabling them to exchange experiences and insights on teaching in medical education.
Assoc. Prof. Sumidtra Prathep, MD also had a meeting with Prof. Hiroshi MORITAKE (Dean, UOM Medicine) and MEDPSU students currently undertaking clinical elective at UOM Medicine.
